REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A NEW NAMIBIAN PASSPORT
- Duly filled application form (only original copy accepted). Forms are available at the High Commission and all applications should be made in person, no exceptions.
- Two colour passport-size photos
- Current passport;
- Certified copy of Current passport;
- Certified copy of a Namibian Birth Certificate;
- Certified copy of a Namibian Identity Document (ID);
- Certified copy of Namibian Citizenship Certificate (If applicant was born outside Namibia);
- Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate (if applicable) when changing surname;

Application Fee (c/o the nearest Namibian Embassy/High Commission).
Note that if the passport is damaged, lost or expiring in less than a month, the application fee (c/o the nearest Namibian Embassy/High Commission) (Cash or postal order payable at the High Commission). No personal cheques are accepted.
Processing time is usually between 4-8 weeks. Hence, it is strongly advised that applications are submitted in time to avoid disappointment.
NOTE:
All applicants older than 16 years are required to sign their applications.
