From 25 - 28 May 2013, eLearning Africa 2013 took place in Windhoek

The 8th eLearning Africa conference opened its doors. The Safari Conference Centre in Windhoek welcomed record numbers – over 1,200 participants and more than 300 speakers. More information on the conference can be accessed by following twitter live feed or  Facebook group!
The eLearning Africa's 8th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) was held under the theme 'Policy and Innovation in Education in Africa'.

The conference had three goals: to review the African experience of transformative ICT in education policy development; to discuss emerging trends for African learners under increasing influence of innovative technologies; and develop ideas for policy responses to the influence of rapid technological changes on Africa's learning landscape.
The conference was hosted by the Namibian Government.
